We're hosting the first ever Cochauco Cook-Off event: BOCADITO

Join us for this annual event designed to celebrate the emerging farm-to-table restaurant movement in our capital city, Quito.  Enjoy the best bites right at the source - outdoors, on the farm, surrounded by the mountains. 

The funds collected during this event will help A Caballo Vamos, an organization that helps children with Down Syndrome learn to socialize by working with horses. (an initiative of the nonprofit El Triangulo)

10 of Quito’s best chefs will cook their favorite bocadito (“bite”) for our 350 attendees. One lucky chef will win a gourmet guided trip to Brooklyn.

We will also have a marketplace of local producers of food, beverages, and art, where you can sample and and purchase items to take home. 


  • Taste food items from the local chefs and food producers
  • Tour the Hacienda Cochauco farm - hike the land, feed the calves, milk the cows, tour the houses
  • Participate in horse leading demonstrations by A Caballo Vamos
